Starting with nitrox in your tank for additional safety, longer bottom times & shorter decompression times. Then onto technical extended range to get you deeper – safer. Finally the last step is Trimix use – replacing some of the nitrogen with helium – again for additional safety and also you will be able to remember more of your dive!
Then for a complete change try the INSPIRATION closed circuit rebreather with its many advantages. Oxygen, Helium & sofnolime in stock. Ambient Pressure just a few minutes down the road so all spares & consumables readily available.
ITDA technical diving courses from recreational nitrox through deco & extended range to Trimix, Inspiration rebreathers & gas blending.(The ITDA was previously run from Fort William commercial diving school & is recognized as a diver training agency by the HSE, PADI & BSAC.)
Vast choice of wreck & scenic diving available. Some great wrecks in the 40-80m range only a few minutes boat ride away from shore. Photo below shows tech diver on the wreck of the ILSTON (50m to bottom). This big wreck, sank in 1917, was carrying a mixed cargo including railway rolling stock and now lies off Bass Point, The Lizard just a few minutes boat ride from shore.
