Nitrox
Diver is the entry level course for divers who want to
expand their theoretical and practical skills, and wishes to learn
about the benefits of diving with oxygen enriched air. The course
contains theory and practical diving (2 nitrox dives), focusing
on safe use of nitrox for no decompression dives with a maximum
of 40 % oxygen, and a max depth of 40m. (please note that
unlike some basic nitrox courses this does include dives
utilising nitrox!)
Decompression
Nitrox Diver (AdvancedNitrox) course builds on the basic
theory from the nitrox diver course, but includes more training
and theory on the benefits of nitrox for use as a decompression
gas. On this course you will learn to safely use nitrox mixes
for carrying out decompression on dives. (This can be done
using single cylinder with pony or full tech setup of twinset
and side-mount)
Technical
Nitrox Diver (Extended Range) is an
advanced course for divers who want to learn how to safely conduct
deep dives with oxygen rich decompression mixtures. The course
will involve theory, techniques and equipment configurations used
for carrying out deep dives with accelerated staged decompression
utilising nitrox and pure oxygen.
Nitrox
Gas Blender
is designed for divers and technicians alike, who wish to learn
to mix nitrox, and safely handle filling systems used with oxygen.
Ambient
Pressure 'INSPIRATION' Closed Circuit Rebreather
- An introduction to closed circuit rebreather technology allowing
divers to dive to a depth of 40 metres using air as a diluent.
( if buying a unit through Lizardiver course cost is included
in purchase price). Here on the Nitrox page as the Inspiration
rebreather produces the optimum O2 percentage (ie nitrox) for
the depth dived. £450
