In late November
2002 the DCMS
granted Lizard Diver, as licensees of the Royal Anne Galley historic
wreck site, a visitor's license for the first time. As licensees,
we can now offer a unique diving experience previously available
to only a handful of selected divers - to dive the protected wreck
site of the Royal Anne Galley.
This unique
dive will not only show you how difficult locating an old wrecksite
is, but also what a huge task finding and recovering artefacts
and recording the process can be. This is not a deep site (max
10m) and at the right stage of the tide is very safe and as such
is suitable for all diver levels.
