Become an independent PADI certified diver...

OPEN WATER COURSE - the most popular diving course in the world. The minimum certification required to dive independently. 3 - 4 day course - dive up to 18m. Ages 10 years and over.

ADVENTURE DIVER
There are a whole list of Adventure dives for you to try (see list on right). If you complete 3 Adventure dives you will earn the Adventure Diver qualification. Remember any of these dives can count as the first dive of the relevant Speciality course.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER - 5 dives which include a deep dive (up to 30m) & a Navigation dive, plus 3 other adventure dives. Remember any of these dives can count as the first dive of the relevant Speciality course.

RESCUE DIVER - The PADI Rescue Diver course will expand your knowledge and experience beyond the recreational level. Although this is a serious course, it is an enjoyable way to build your confidence by learning how to look after yourself as well as considering the safety and well being of others. Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and if necessary manage dive emergencies. Some of the things you will learn in this course are self rescue and diver stress, missing diver procedures and swimming and non swimming rescue techniques.

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE - covers emergency procedures, e.g. CPR. This course is open to non-divers.

DIVEMASTER - the first step as a dive professional. Divemasters can be trained by completing a stand alone course or by using the Internship method. This gives you genuine day-to-day experience of assisting in training real students and guiding real divers. As a Divemaster Intern you will be part of the team working alongside an instructor to gain experience in assisting with training at entry and advanced levels, running the Scuba Review and Local Orientation courses, acting as a Divemaster on the boats, and escorting nervous, rusty or simply lonely divers! You will come away with your Divemaster qualification and also with the confidence and good experience to make you an excellent DM wherever in the world you intend to use your qualification.
